New Comics Released!!
So over this weekend I was hoping to have the newest comic released. Fortunately I overshot my goal and have two pages for you guys. If you notice the progress bar says 210%, this is because I let it stack until release day which is Monday. So if I get done ahead of schedule you will know how far ahead I am. In this case I am 10% into comic 3 in chapter zero. Chapter Zero is a short prologue to the AoG story and hopefully it gives you a tiny taste of what will come on a weekly basis.
Once more characters are introduced I will have an "AoG Lite Omaki Theater" that I will do every other week or so with each comic as long as it doesn't slow me down from the main storyline.
Also as you notice I decided to step away from full color. There's a couple of really good reasons. One full color is amazingly difficult when it comes to backgrounds and takes way to much time. Character art was easy enough but slowing the progress down for the background well that's just a waste. Two I love to sketch and keep some of my sketchy style in my art as you will notice. Three I decided that eventually if I go to print it would be very costly. also a big thing is my comic is a Shonen. (read my article on this) It isn't the typical comedy bit comic so getting the story to the reader fast is very important to maintaining readership or so some of you guys have said. Doing it in black and white will mean that I may eventually move to 2-3 releases a week! It will be a lot less frustrating when your reading a fight scene to not have to wait a week.
Well the Omakis will be full color. Also at the end of each Chapter and Book I plan to do a full page color spread. Other then that I suppose color is up to your imagination... except the main characters hair, its RED! I spoiled it for your imagination, woohoo!
